Drive-in pallet racking system (Система въездных (глубинных или набивных) стеллажей)
Drive-in pallet racking system allows to use up to 85% of warehouse space owing to removal of working corridors between racking units. This type of racking is ideally suited for storage of loads of the same type with a great number of pallets for each item.
BASIC ELEMENTS
1. The frame of racking is a prefabricated metal construction on the basis of posts, made from a special shape with stiffening ribs and perforation holes to enable change of spacing of storage levels every 50 mm. Bolting of frame provides high durability and deformation resistance.
2. Post of racking is a metal construction on the basis of support, made from a special shape. It is mounted instead of frames in places, where setting of many frames is beyond the purpose. The post is fastened to the floor by anchor bolts.
3. High-lift profile. It includes guides, made from a special shape for placing of pallets with load in the channels of storage of drive-in pallet racking. The guides of high-lift profile are mounted on frames with brackets. Length of high-lift profile depends on the amount of pallets in the channel of warehousing.
4. Bracket (left, right) is a bearing element of construction for fastening of frame guides. Brackets are mounted on frames and provide the certain height of warehousing levels.
5. Buckle is a reinforcing element, which is mounted on top parts of frames.
6. Stop is a locking member, intended for mounting on outermost frames of racking in order to prevent fall of the misplaced pallets.
ADVANTAGES
- The system is ideally suited for loads of the same type with a large number of pallets for each item;
- The system allows to warehouse loads of the same type in the same row;
- Reduction of number of aisles allows to use warehouse space to the maximum.
